East Anglia One Wind Farm - Great Yarmouth

Glenview Contracts were successfully awarded the contract to work closely with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy to set up their new Pre-Assembly site in Great Yarmouth were they would assemble 102 wind turbines to be shipped 45Km from the Coastline to form the new East Anglia One wind farm.

Our works package included the installation of a new 800m2 reinforced concrete base for a new storage shed, general ground works for new installations such as on-site offices, waste & storage areas, ground preparation for the storage of the wind turbine blades and Nacelles. We have also provided a range of works from electrical installations to joinery works such as timber deckings, timber ramps, walkways, roofing and fencing. 

Upon a sucessful site set up, Glenview Contracts had the oportunity to tender to provide the on-going site maintenance for the duration of the pre-assemble site in Great Yarmouth and were successfully awarded the Contract.
